"It is my honor to be named Unico President for the 2021-2022 season. As a daughter of Italian immigrants, I have always had pride for our heritage. My family was privileged enough to be able to summer in Italy every year, with our relatives. It is while traveling throughout the country, that we truly learned the culture and lifestyle of our Italian people. As I grew, I realized just how special being Italian is. During college at FAU, I changed my major to Italian Studies so that I could gain better knowledge of our past. Afterwards, I taught Italian at St. John Paul II academy. I have always been excited to share my knowledge of language and culture, and to promote a good example of Italians. 'To promote and enhance the image of Italian Americans' is exactly what Unico does. It is for this reason, that I am excited to serve as your President this year."
